Terms of Service

Last updated 3 July 2026

These terms govern your use of STARCAST, a live-webinar platform, whether you host an event or attend one. By registering for, hosting, or joining a webinar, you agree to them.

Using the service

You may use STARCAST only for lawful purposes. You agree not to disrupt a broadcast, attempt to access rooms or streams you have not been invited to, share private join links or invite tokens with people they were not issued to, or reverse-engineer or overload the platform.

Hosts’ responsibilities

If you host a webinar, you are the controller of the personal data your attendees provide and are responsible for the content of your event, for having a lawful basis to contact your registrants, and for telling attendees when a session is being recorded. You must not use STARCAST to broadcast unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

Recordings & content

Webinars may be recorded by the host. You retain ownership of the content you create; by presenting or participating, you grant the host permission to record, stream, and replay the session. Where recording consent is required, you will be asked to agree before joining. See our Privacy Notice for how recordings are handled.

Availability

We work to keep STARCAST reliable but provide the service “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability. Live streaming depends on your network and on third-party infrastructure we do not control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security and quality.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STARCAST is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
